fresh curtains

When my friend Charlotte saw I'd made a skirt out of this home dec weight fabric from Ikea, she sent me 8 yards of the same happy fabric!  I guess she'd been planning curtains of her own, but we all know how plans can change, and this stuff was on its way to the dump.  Thank you, Charlotte! 

That was a while ago. Which is to say, I've been meaning to whip these up for some time.  Lately we've been paying attention to all the things around the apartment that don't quite work and that we usually ignore because making changes takes mental and physical effort.  Here's to getting things done.
